Recently in the UK, a portrait of a young girl put up for sale has sparked a peculiar debate.
The eerie gaze of the young girl depicted in the painting has been labeled as “Possibly haunted,” raising curiosity among viewers. But why?

Referred to as the cursed painting, it was initially brought to a charity shop by an anonymous donor, intending to convert donations into aid.
The shop owner initially sold the painting to a woman for 5 pounds. However, just two days later, the woman returned to the store, stating, “I need to get rid of this painting,” and attempted to return it.
Taking back the painting, the shop owner displayed it again in the storefront, playfully adding “possibly haunted” to its description.
Subsequently, another woman purchased the painting for 20 pounds. However, within a few days, she returned it to the store, without requesting a refund.
The shop owner, attempting to sell the painting for a third time, wrote on its description, “It’s back! Sold twice and returned twice. Are you brave enough to buy it?”

Once the incident reached social media, the debate about the “cursed painting” quickly ensued. Some visitors to the shop claimed the eyes of the girl in the painting were moving, while others speculated that the shop owner was employing such a marketing tactic for attention.
