60th Anniversary of the Kennedy Assassination, a Pivotal Moment in History
Exactly 60 years have passed since the shocking assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States, an event that reverberated globally and continues to spark numerous speculations and inquiries.
On November 22, 1963, at 12:30, while riding in an open car amidst a convoy in Dallas, shots were fired, fatally hitting Kennedy in the neck, head, and back. Rushed to Parkland Hospital, Kennedy succumbed to his injuries en route.

The assailant, 24-year-old Dallas native Lee Harvey Oswald, was apprehended the same day but was killed two days later by Jack Ruby, a nightclub owner, before any statements or trial could occur. Oswald’s swift demise complicated the investigation, hindering efforts to unravel the full story behind the assassination.

Despite suspicions, concrete evidence linking individuals besides Oswald to the crime remained elusive and inconclusive, leaving a cloud of uncertainty over the incident.
Kennedy’s visit to Dallas held political motives, aiming to unify the electorate amidst tensions between his Vice President, Johnson, and Texan Democratic Governor Connally. The tragic turn of events, however, disrupted Kennedy’s aspirations.

The tragic moment was captured by Zapruder’s 8mm camera, yet the sole perspective from a single camera raised skepticism about the completeness of the visual documentation.
Subsequent evaluations revealed approximately 5.6 seconds between the first and fatal shots, indicating a high-level marksmanship that ordinary investigations failed to replicate, raising doubts about the lone gunman theory.

Over the past six decades, numerous theories emerged regarding the assassination, one notably implicating Israel and Mossad. Kennedy’s opposition to Israel’s nuclear program and objection to its expansionist policies in the Middle East fueled these speculations.

However, these allegations remained speculative, lacking substantial evidence. Kennedy’s demise in that car in Dallas remains an unresolved chapter in history.
